Meet the person behind Healing Hands
Mary brings a listening-first approach to massage at Lake of the Ozarks and is developing The Framily Method.
Massage with Mary
With 20 years of massage experience, Mary Self, LMTM, provides mobile massage at Lake of the Ozarks and in-studio massage and Shockwave services at Ciao Bella Skin & Wellness in Camdenton.
Her approach begins with the person: what they want, what they do not want, and what would help them feel comfortable giving honest feedback.
You can share your preferences, ask about the appointment, and request a change in pressure or position. Consent and comfort remain part of the conversation throughout your visit.
Mary's studio appointments take place at Ciao Bella Skin & Wellness, 1000 East US Highway 54, Camdenton, Missouri 65020.
For a mobile massage, Mary brings the table and equipment to your Lake of the Ozarks appointment.
90-minute mobile massageConsent, Comfort, Compassion
Each part supports a considerate experience.
Clear intentions and boundaries help someone make a real choice. They can change their mind, ask for less, or stop.
Pressure is one part of comfort. Position, covering, temperature, and the ease of speaking up matter too.
Thoughtful touch leaves room to adjust. The person receiving care matters more than completing a predetermined routine.
The Framily Method
Mary is developing The Framily Method as personal-use education about considerate massage for consenting adult partners, friends, and family.
Her Muddy Bottom image describes a gradual, responsive approach to pressure and emphasizes feedback from the person receiving touch.
The educational course is separate from Mary's professional service appointments.
